What this is, and what you need before you can do anything.
- What is R.A.C.E.?#
- Race Anything, Challenge Everyone — a photo contest and showcase platform for vehicles. You enter photos into shows, build a garage of the vehicles you own, and compete for placement in the Winners Circle.Read the Entry Guide →
- Do I need an account?#
- You can look around without one. You need an account to enter a show, add a vehicle, post, or follow anyone. If you tap something that needs an account, you are taken to sign-in and brought back afterwards.
- Why is it asking for my date of birth?#
- Contest eligibility depends on age, so it is asked once and kept. The age requirements for a given show are in the Contest Rules.Read the Contest Rules →
- What is a home area?#
- It is what "near you" means — it decides which shows, events and photo spots surface first. Change it any time in Profile → settings → Home Area.
Entering shows
Shows, classes, entries, and the things attached to an entry.
- How do I enter a show?#
- Open Shows, pick a show, then pick the class you want to compete in. Before the form you are shown the field you would be entering, so you can decide before committing. Then add your photos and submit.Browse shows →
- What is a class?#
- A show is divided into classes, and a class is the field you actually compete in. Entering the right class matters more than entering the biggest show.
- What is a Spec Sheet?#
- The build specs under your photos on an entry — engine, wheels, paint, whatever is worth saying. You can edit it after submitting, from the entry itself.
- What is a Build Journal?#
- A running series of progress posts attached to one entry — where build progress gets followed over time rather than judged in a single photo.
- What is the Daily Challenge?#
- A prompt that changes daily, with its own entry. Lower commitment than a full show entry, and your drafts are kept if you do not finish one.
- What is the Winners Circle?#
- The hall of fame — past champions plus the seasonal league standings. Reach it from the gold banner on Home or Shows.Open the Winners Circle →
Your garage
Vehicles, parts, and guided photo shoots.
- What is the Garage for?#
- Your vehicles, kept independently of any one contest. A vehicle carries its own photos, specs and parts list, and you reuse it across shows instead of re-describing it every time.
- What is a guided photo shoot?#
- A 30-angle guided sequence that walks you through photographing a vehicle properly. You can start one without picking a show first.
- I closed the app mid-shoot. Did I lose it?#
- No. Every accepted photo saves immediately, and unsubmitted shoots wait for you in your garage. Reopen the shoot and carry on from where you stopped.
Posting and community
Home, channels, posting, and the Street Team.
- Where did the Feed tab go?#
- Home is the feed now. The toggle, filters and composer that used to live in a separate Feed tab were merged into Home, and Home remembers the channel you last had selected.
- What are channels?#
- The topic streams that structure Home. Switching channel changes which posts you see, and your last choice is remembered.
- What is the Street Team?#
- A program for people who represent R.A.C.E. at shows and events. Apply from your profile; accepted members get their own feed.About the Street Team →
Businesses and events
Shops, hosting events, coverage, and photo spots.
- I own a shop. How do I get listed?#
- Apply from any shop page or from your profile. Once approved you get a business profile and can host events.
- How do I run an event?#
- Approved businesses get an event console — create an event, edit it, and manage entries. People find it through the events list, through "near you", or from your shop page.See events →
- What is event coverage?#
- Photos and a write-up submitted from a show you attended — how an event gets documented by the people who were there.
- What are photo spots?#
- Places that are good to shoot at, added by the community and browsable on the map. You can add one yourself.Browse photo spots →
Account, privacy and safety
Deleting your account, safe zones, blocking, reporting and consent.
- How do I delete my account?#
- Profile → settings → Delete Account. Read the confirmation screen before continuing, because it is not reversible.
- What are Safe Zones?#
- Areas where your location detail is withheld, so posting from home does not publish where home is. Set them in Profile → settings → Safe Zones.
- Someone is bothering me.#
- Block them, and report the content. Blocking is reversible from Profile → settings → Blocked Users. Use the report option on the post, entry or profile itself so we can see what you mean.
- How do I change my notifications?#
- Profile → settings → Notifications. You choose which ones you get; turning them all off does not affect your entries.
- What is Consent & Media Rights?#
- What you agree to about how your photos may be used when you enter them. It is in Profile → settings, and it is worth reading before your first entry rather than after.
